Fun with Aunt Aly or "Addy"

Aunt Aly came to visit us for a few days, and as you'll see below she was a huge hit with Mac! He took to her instantly and couldn't get enough of Aunt "Addy". He can't say her name quite yet, but that's ok.

We even made Halloween cupcakes, which Mac looked SO good in!

Night at the Fair

Last night we went with Popeye, Mimi, Aunt Holly, and cousins Sarah Beth, & Will to the North Georgia State Fair. This was Mac's 1st time at a function like this and riding rides. He did really well and seemed to enjoy himself!

Yes, I know, it's been a while....

Now that I'm back in an official paying job and not the one of keeping this current, I've been slack. I admit it, so no being mean to me. Here are some pics from last Sunday with Mac playing around the house, and some from tonight at our neighborhood "YAY, it's football season" party.

Our Newest Addition

Meet Rooney.....our new Beagle. We picked him up today from a shelter in Cartersville. We played with him for about 2 hours to ensure he was the dog for us. He's skittish, however, he's handled Mac VERY well and has passed all the tests of pushing, tugging, yanking, poking, and most importantly - he doesn't flinch when Mac screams. He seems like he's going to be a great dog for us, and we're very excited to have him. He is currently asleep on Cocoa's old bed we pulled out. When Mac fed him treats he would just start laughing! I think these two will be best buds.
The name comes from the Steelers - the family that owns them are the Rooney's. You knew there had to be some relation.

Last Day at Tumbling Class

Today was the last day of Mac's tumbling class. He always enjoyed it, so we may put him back in in a few weeks, once things settle down with us. We remembered the camera today so we can share!
